QACDG Day Camp Workshop registration is open to all members of QACDG. Registration will occur at January and February QACDG Program meetings and by mail until February 2, 2020. Registrations received by mail will not receive priority and will be accepted after January 1, 2020



  • The per-person fee is $6 for half-day and $12 for full-day workshop.
  • Sit and Sew room is available for $6 per half-day for those wishing to work on their own projects. Sit and Sew payments can be made in advance or on-site (if space is available) to Day Camp Committee.
  • Lunch payment of $12 per person is optional for registrants.
  • Fees are not intended to compensate totally for workshop costs (facility fee, food and gratuity)
  • Full payment for registration is requested at the time of sign-up. Only full payment secures a spot in the workshop.
  • If a registration is not fully paid fourteen (14 days) before workshop date, the space is released to those on waiting list, and will be filled according to Wait List procedures.
  • All checks for registration will be held by the QACDG Treasurer until February 1, 2020, and retuned to participant in case of class cancellation.


When the workshop’s maximum registration is reached, a Wait List is created on a first-come, first-served basis. Vacancies in a full workshop will be filled by people on the Wait List, and thereafter vacant spots will be opened to anyone eligible for the workshop.


  • A paid registrant who cancels fourteen (14) days or more prior to the workshop date will receive a full refund for workshop fees and lunch fee. The Day Camp Committee reserves the right to cancel classes with less than 5 people registered.
  • A paid registrant who cancels (13) days or less prior to the workshop date will be receive no refund unless there is a paid replacement registration to fill the cancellation.
  • Prepaid fees for workshop kits cannot be refunded unless there is a paid replacement registration to purchase the kit.
  • Prepaid fees for lunch cannot be refunded if cancellation is 14 days or less.
  • Distribution of all instructions and class materials after Day Camp to members who missed the class or cancelled after deadline will be at the discretion of the teacher.
  • For cancellations before the deadline, where registration fees are refunded to the member and spaces are not filled with new students, QACDG will reimburse any teacher for out-of-pocket fees, using Day Camp funds.
  • For workshop cancellations due to teacher illness or emergency, materials fees paid by the teachers will be compensated as a courtesy, with QACDG Day Camp funds.
