2020 Quilt Trail
Throughout April 2020, QACDG is collaborating with the Alachua County Library District to host The Quilt Trail, a stunning exhibit of quilts and quilting techniques at libraries (except Archer) throughout the county. Its goal is to introduce library patrons to the vast range of quilting styles and inspire them with the artistic possibilities of quilting.
“Passports” are available at each library, and participants can get them stamped at each library, turning them in at the last site they visit. When the Quilt Trail concludes, those passports will be included in a drawing for a historic redwork quilt and other prizes.
The Quilt Trail opened in March — National Quilting Month. Because of Coronavirus closures, the library system will continue the Quilt Trail show through April.
The Quilt Trail is coordinated by Mary Peer. You can reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
